This case closes on a frame instead, secured by a TSA lock and two additional clips.

Why zipperless
Two practical gains. Security: a zip can be forced open and re-closed with no visible damage, while a frame closure cannot. And durability: an overpacked zip is the single most common way a suitcase fails in transit, and there isn't one here to burst. The trade is weight — the frame and clips put this at 5.5kg, heavier than a zipped case of the same volume.
On the weight limit
The case will physically hold 30kg, but airlines will not. Most set a checked bag at 23kg and refuse a single piece over 32kg on manual handling grounds. At 5.5kg empty, budget for around 17.5kg of contents on a standard ticket — worth knowing before you pack, since this is a heavier case than most.

Every case ordered on this website carries a 2-year ATX warranty. It is exclusive to atxluggage.com — the same case bought through a marketplace does not carry it. Claims are handled by us, from our own UK warehouse.
