On the weight limit
Most airlines set a checked bag at 23kg, and almost all refuse a single piece over 32kg because of manual handling rules. The case itself holds up to 25kg, so at 4.0kg empty you have around 19kg of allowance to fill on a standard 23kg ticket. Check your own allowance before you fly — it varies by carrier and fare.
