The build is the point: 900D polyester over a honeycomb frame with EVA side panels and reinforced rubber corner protectors. The 22.5cm depth is over the 20cm several budget carriers allow, including Ryanair's priority gauge. And with the 5cm expander open it is outside most cabin allowances altogether — that space is for a hold ticket or the return leg, not the gate.
